Ok soo I have been working as a volunteer in the preschool classroom in a school that I attended sooo many years ago.  It happens to be right up the street from where I live! It was wierd to be back, I was at that school from first grade until seventh! But the only original person there was the janitor! :shock: He has stopped the maintinence work of the school has been reduced to the door opener and morning greeter. He, of course, didn't remember me until I jogged his memory. Well, anyway I have been there for a couple of weeks, and the principal just came up to me and offered me a paid position as an aid! It will be temporary because one of the other aids is going on maternity leave, but it's money all the same! And I get my foot in the door to move up!  
  
On to other news. I have been going to my Foundations of Reading MTEL prepcourse for two Saturdays now. It's an all day affair! The test is approaching! It's on the 12th. :iconnerviousplz: All the information has been ramed into my head, my memory about to burst! I failed the first time I took it back in 07, I didn't have the classes and I went in blind But now I have all the info I need, it's all mostly review. I do hope I can pass, though, because my whole career is riding on this exam. I need to pass to get into Sept student teaching. I did try to get some extra help in my studies and boost my chance by getting a book that was recommended to me. i went to Amazon to order a book. i dound it and expidited it because they said it would come by the 2cd of May. I paid $25 for it! Then I get an email saying it will arrive by the 9th! Three days before the test! That doesn't help me! I'm soo pissed! But it is what it is and I have to make due. I have all the other info from my prepcourse and my memory. Wish me luck!
